Our Trip to California
Itinerary:

August 5th, 2010:
We arrived late to Cleveland, thus missing our connecting flight to LA.

Instead of arriving on late on August 5th, we arrive at 10.40am @ LAX on Friday August 6th.

Our rental Car is a 2010 Ford Focus from Dollar rent-a-car.

We then visited:

Petersen Automotive Museum, we have lunch at the Johnny Rocket’s at the Museum.

The J. Paul Getty Museum

Dinner at CoCo’s in Irvine

We Stay Night in Irvine


Saturday August 7th

Wake up early @ 6 am for Cars and Coffee in Irvine

Then drive to Yorba Linda to the Richard Nixon Presidential Library

Drive to Sylmar to view the Nethercutt Collection. A car collection and amazing bizarre items including an organ.

Drive to Simi Valley accidentally run into Costco

Night Simi Valley at the Best Western Pasado

Dinner at the Elephant Bar


Sunday August 8th

Ronald Reagan Presidential Library to Start

Then to Palos Verdes Estates to see the Wayfarer’s Chapel

Then heavy hors d'Ĺ“uvre's at Nancy to see 2009 Ferrari Scuderia

Stay Night @ Super 8 near LAX



Monday August 9th

Leave LA cruise up Pacfic Coast Highway

Just drive by the Mullin Museum in Oxnard,

Snack @ McDonald’s

Lunch @ In and Out Burger

Head towards Santa Barbara to Mission

See Hanna

Visit State Street Coastal Shore

Go back to Mission, the mother off all missions

Dinner:

Santa Barbara Brewing Company.

Drive back to Oxnard and stay in Best Western near Mullins Museum.



Tuesday August 10th:

10am - Mullin Museum

12.45 Lunch @ El Sitio in Santa Barbara

Head to San Simeon via 154, 101 and 1



Wednesday August 11th

Hearst Castle Tour 2 and watch Movie

Drive up Pacific Coast Highway

Check out Art Exhibit at Embassy Suites

Motel 6 Salinas- Went to Monterey Bay Brewing Company



Thursday August 12th

10am RM Auction Tour led by Ian Kehler, President of RM

Lunch @ Subway

Went to Carmel @ 2.30 to see Tour d’elegence

5-7 Back to Portola to RM drinks and food party



Friday August 13th

Concorso Italiano @ Laguna Seca County Club



Saturday August 14th

Wake up @ 6.30

Head to Laguna Seca Raceway

See an all Bugatti Race

Stay Night near SFO at Days Inn

Zorba’s Pizza on El Camino Real



Monday August 16th

Head to Black Hawk Museum in Danville California

Then drive long way around San Francisco Bay stopping in Sausalito and crossing Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco

Looked around Fisherman’s Warf

Dinner @ Zorba’s again


Tuesday August 17th.

Fly out early the back to RIC
