New School year

I hope everyone had a nice summer. Sorry for the lack of updates. With Grad school my life is about to get much busier.

My goal for this school year is to have all assignments for my classes on my blog daily.

Above is my new downhill mountain bike. I am very proud of it. Unfortunately, it is the end of the season, so it will have to wait till next season. Though, I am thinking about doing the race at beech mountain on labor day weekend.

State and Local Budget Cuts Forcing Hickory Public Schools to Reduce Positions

This shows the ever expanding influence of the "financial crisis" especially on the local level.

The ever-increasing state-wide economic crisis is causing a serious reduction in state and local funding for Hickory Public Schools. The loss of funding may force the school system to cut a number of positions at all levels.

What is CVHS?
Hickory Public Schools operates Catawba Valley High School for the three systems, which is for students with behavioral or academic difficulties.
